The DC Area Writing Project (DCAWP) a local site of the National Writing Project, is sponsored by Howard University School of Education and supported by the District of Columbia Public School System. The ultimate goal of the teachers in DCAWP is to enrich and empower our own lives and the lives of our students through writing.
