What has a plant done for you lately?

My plants stayed alive. I thought they were gone! For so many days, I didn’t have to use the hose outside because of the consistent rain. The other night, I got home late and noticed yellow where there had been green. My plants were extremely dry. I panicked and immediately gave them water. Now they’re coming back. But yesterday, I forgot again! I hope they make it because I’ve never been good at this. I just don’t have a green thumb. I wonder if I’ll be a good mom.
